The role also provides support to the team in the general engineering of optimization products.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Key Responsibilities<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Electrical \/ Automation Engineer will be responsible for:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Supporting designers in equipment design by performing engineering calculations as required;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Improving the electrical and networking ergonomics of our products (computer cabinets, electrical panels, etc.);<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Participating in CSA certification activities for our machines and conducting related research;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Validating the selection of components used in equipment and, when necessary, researching new electrical, computer, and networking components;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Analyzing equipment constraints and operating conditions;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Supervising machine prototype testing to verify proper operation and compliance with technical specifications;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Conducting durability and reliability testing on components, including environmental chamber testing (temperature, vibration, waterproofing, etc.);<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Investigating the root causes of electrical, networking, or unexpected operational failures;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Recommending product improvements and modifications to enhance performance and reduce manufacturing costs.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Required Qualifications<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Membership in the Ordre des ing\u00e9nieurs du Qu\u00e9bec (OIQ) is considered an asset;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Skills and Competencies<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The successful candidate will:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Be highly organized and structured;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Demonstrate strong analytical skills;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Show initiative and autonomy;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Be methodical and resourceful;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Be able to effectively manage priorities;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Have strong problem-solving abilities;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Be comfortable working under pressure;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Knowledge of AutoCAD software is considered an asset.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Working conditions<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Office-based position with a hybrid work arrangement;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Occasional travel required;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Indirect supervision of team members.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","persona":[5],"domaine":[11,67],"localisation":[15,16,14],"class_list":["post-9566","jobs","type-jobs","status-publish","hentry","persona-exclusive-experts","domaine-automation","domaine-engineering","localisation-quebec","localisation-saguenay","localisation-saint-georges"],"acf":[],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.10 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Reporting to the Engineering Director, the incumbent is responsible for analyzing, proposing, and implementing efficient business processes to support all activities from sales through product installation.
