RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attends toolbox/safety meetings at start of shift.
• Works closely with Receiving and Procurement and provides back up support for Shipping Team.
• May be asked to expedite orders and shipments by phone or email in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and organized work area.
• Understands and exercises good time management for unloading carriers and processes receiving goods to jobs and inventory according to established protocols.
• Will be professional while engaging vendors and carriers as well as co-workers.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines.
• Appropriate personal protection equipment, steel toe work boots, warm clothing for outdoor work, all weather.
