Inside Sales Representative
St. George, SC
Description
The main duties will include working under the supervision of the Inside Sales Manager, the inside parts sales representative will work with different contributors, external, and internal, in order to provide information and answers to different requests always keeping the customer satisfaction in mind.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Receive and log customer requests in the ERP system.
- Prepare and send quotes and sales order confirmations to customers.
- Follow up with customers on previous quotes and inquiries.
- Provide information on products, equipment, and services.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls, and emails.
- Partner closely with Business Development and Outside Sales teams to drive parts sales growth.
- Communicate with internal departments to collect and validate information as needed.
- Respond to customer phone inquiries and resolve questions promptly.
- Handle additional tasks related to parts sales as required.
Skills and qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in inside sales preferred; other relevant experience will be considered.
- Knowledge of the sawmill industry or industrial components used in machine fabrication is a strong asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, AutoCAD, eDrawings, and other specialized software.
- Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities.
