Parts Sales Estimator

Description

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Estimate OEM parts prices based on manufacturing blueprints and data in the system;
- Maintain the OEM pricing database;
- Support the sales team in Canada and the United States;
- Compare production costs with selling prices;
- Analyze requests for quotes to ensure a clear understanding of the customer’s needs the organization’s ability to meet them;
- Respond to customer requests for information (by email and phone);
- Consult with various internal and external stakeholders to gather and validate the necessary information;
- Prepare and send quotes to customers;
- Manage and track the status of current orders;
- Ensure customer satisfaction;
- Manage unexpected issues and potential delivery delays;
- Send information to customers about the company’s products and services.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Vocational diploma in industrial drafting, industrial mechanics, administration, or any equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Industrial manufacturing skills: machining, welding, machining;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Relevant experience with ERP and CRM systems (an asset);
- Experience reading mechanical blueprints and specifications;
