Parts Sales Estimator

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Estimate OEM parts prices based on manufacturing blueprints and data in the system;
  • Maintain the OEM pricing database;
  • Support the sales team in Canada and the United States;
  • Compare production costs with selling prices;
  • Analyze requests for quotes to ensure a clear understanding of the customer’s needs the organization’s ability to meet them;
  • Respond to customer requests for information (by email and phone);
  • Consult with various internal and external stakeholders to gather and validate the necessary information;
  • Prepare and send quotes to customers;
  • Manage and track the status of current orders;
  • Ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Manage unexpected issues and potential delivery delays;
  • Send information to customers about the company’s products and services.

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Vocational diploma in industrial drafting, industrial mechanics, administration, or any equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Industrial manufacturing skills: machining, welding, machining;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Relevant experience with ERP and CRM systems (an asset);
  • Experience reading mechanical blueprints and specifications;
